Tools to master GitLab CI/CD
Beyond pipeline configuration, complementary tools improve your productivity: a CLI to automate, linters to validate, and integrations to extend what you can do.
The essential tools
GitLab CLI (glab) manages GitLab from the terminal: pipelines, MRs and issues. Plumber is a compliance scanner: it analyses your pipelines, generates a PBOM and detects problems. In the editor, the VS Code extensions (in French) provide autocompletion and validation. To diagnose complex pipelines, the lesson Debug: reading the logs covers advanced debugging techniques.
