This site also improves thanks to its readers. These people reported errors, outdated content or improvements that were actually integrated. Every contribution that is kept earns points, according to the impact it had on the site.

Top contributors
All time, top 20. The number is the rank: the same points give the same rank, and the next rank skips as many places as there are ties. Last contribution counted on 18 October 2026.

How points work
An issue earns nothing when it is opened. Points are awarded when it is closed, once the change it caused is published, according to the value it brought to the site. The value is an editorial decision made at triage, not an objective algorithm.
| Level | Points | What earns it |
|---|---|---|
| Minor | +1 | A real but limited fix: the site is slightly better afterwards. |
| Useful | +3 | Several readers benefit: an ambiguous explanation, a better example, a clearer quiz. |
| Important | +5 | A real technical error, important outdated content, a broken path or a blocked feature. |
| Major | +10 | The report exposes a defect in a shared mechanism: a component, a generator, a site-wide rule. |
-
Value, not volume
Opening more issues earns no more points. Ten small issues on the same defect count as one.
-
Once per problem
The first useful report gets the points. Duplicates, questions, false positives and requests without a concrete action earn nothing.
-
Only what was integrated
An issue counts once closed as fixed. An idea accepted but not built yet earns nothing until it is.
-
The problem, not the solution
A problem well identified keeps its value even when it ends up solved differently from what was suggested.
